Grape: Petit Verdot
Marqués de Griñon Petit Verdot is 100% produced from Petit Verdot, a native variety of Bordeaux. The grapes come from vineyards grown in clay-limestone soils at an average altitude of 490m above the sea.
The wine goes through aging in new French oak barrels from Allier for 12 -15 months, in a heated vessel.
Intense red, violet reflections. Clean and bright.
Nose: Medium-high intensity. Aromas of ripe fruit with floral notes and toast. Spicy background.
Taste: Fresh input, meaty and brisk. Very fruity and sweet. Good acidity and integrated tannins. Long finish with something minty.
Serve at 16ºC
